About us
Background
Sparrow Community Foundation Uganda (SCFU) is a Christian Charity fully resgistered with the government of Uganda equiped for such a time as this.
Our children / youth today are a generation in crisis with little or no regard for life because of loss of positive belief and values. The decline and negligence of the traditional, religious institutions and western education that supported and watched over young people for upright morals has led to a morality vacuum.
Vision
God fearing, vibrant generations of Uganda and Africa at large.

Our Community
Our community work is centered in Kampala and western region of Uganda - kanungu District. Kanungu district is one of Uganda's remote districts located in the Western part of the country. Nestled within the lush, mountainous terrain of the Kigezi region, Kanungu is known for its rich biodiversity, including the renowned Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Despite its natural beauty and cultural heritage, Kanungu District faces significant challenges due to its remoteness and limited infrastructure. Many of its communities are spread across rugged landscapes, making access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and reliable electricity particularly challenging. The district's economy is primarily agricultural, with many residents depending on subsistence farming for their livelihoods.
