WHO WE ARE

SCFU’s Core Values

God fearing

We are dependent on God in all that we are and do.We seek to glorify Jesus and not ourselves. We seek to build his Kingdom and not ours. Its on this basic pillar that we strive to raise all our children and stakeholders to emulate christ and not us. Deuteronomy 6:24 (So the LORD commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God for our good always and for our survival, as it is today)

Stewardship

We strive to be honest, true and realistic with the resources that God has blessed us with. We do not confuse contentment with apathy or lack of ambi- tion, we do not desire to become so consumed with any pursuit that overshad- ows our pursuit of God Himself. We however know that contentment is the most important characteristic of people who are successful with money. 1 Timothy 6:6 (Godliness with contentment is great gain)

Quality Care

We value excellence, diligence, integrity, professionalism and creativity in caring for children. Therefore we will do our best to see the quality of our work continu-ally improving, where mistakes are learnt from, and success is celebrated, and where we find it a joy to engage in our work Colossians 3:23 (Whatever you do, workout it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not for human masters)

Family and Children:

We believe that FAMILY is essential in the work that we do and that to talk about children without talking about family is to draw away from God’s original plan. We believe in His fatherhood as a reference for life and that children find perfectly in Gods plan when they are in a caring and loving family Ephesians 3:14-15 14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heav-en and on earth derives its name.
